When choosing a powered wheelchair here are some of the questions you should ask yourself:

• What use do I need from the chair?
• Indoor only/Indoor outdoor/ Outdoor only
• Do I need any specialized seating? Which style of drive would suit best?
• Front wheel/Mid wheel/Rear wheel drive Is the wheelchair crash tested? (If you wish to travel in a vehicle)
• Do I need any electric seat functions? Tilt/Raiser/Recline/Legrests
• Do I need any specialized controls?
